Monaco Results and Championship Standings (6/19)

Well done to Dragan who convincingly won this weekend! Both Ferrari drivers (Joe and Rajaram) finished off the podium. A lot of pickers went for Alonso (including myself) who struggled all weekend, anyone who went for Mercedes and Red Bull scored well as these teams locked out all of the big point scores.

Podium (see post for further results)

Constructors Championship

For constructors, so not to disadvantage teams with only one driver (or to protect against someone who doesn't post), players will score points in line with race finishes. See the overall results from Spain below, Dragan will score 25 points for his 1st place this weekend. This is different to how the drivers championship will be scored. If players are tied they will be separated by the following criteria: Race > Constructors > Qualifying > Random > The time of the pick (earlier the better).

Monaco - F1 Prediction League (Round 6)

It's time for one of the classics on the calendar, Monaco. Monaco's considered by most as the crown jewel of the season and it promises to be a thrilling race.

Can Mercedes capitalise on their fast qualifying pace to rack up another pole? If they can they're in for a great chance of podium finish at the very least. What do you think? Will Alonso continue his dominance or will Vettel or Raikkonen get a look in?

Just a quick round-up of the standings so far:

Spain Results and Championship Standings (5/19)

Overall Standings

A one-two finish for the Sauber drivers (the first instance of teammates on a 1-2) allows the team to extend their lead in the constructors championship. Alonso again carries through his promise and looks like the favourite for the drivers title in my opinion. At the top Joe cuts the lead by 5 points and positions 3 to 8 are separated by only 10 points! Things are really closing together there with all to play for.

Constructors Championship

For constructors, so not to disadvantage teams with only one driver (or to protect against someone who doesn't post), players will score points in line with race finishes. See the overall results from Spain below, Kiszol will score 18 points for his 2nd place this weekend. This is different to how the drivers championship will be scored. If players are tied they will be separated by the following criteria: Race > Constructors > Qualifying > Random > The time of the pick (earlier the better).

Spain - F1 Prediction League (Round 5)

We're back in business. Round five of the F1 world championship and the start of the European season.

Catalunya is certainly a big known, teams tested here during pre-season so you'd think there'd be no surprises. However the competitive order always shakes up after a 3-week break so this is a huge weekend for potential gains.
